Clint Laird, LCSW, RPT

CO-FOUNDER, CLINICAL DIRECTOR & LEAD THERAPIST — AVID ICED COFFEE DRINKER

Along with anchoring himself as a relational therapist, Clint takes a narrative and psychodynamic approach to his work with individuals, couples, and families. He meets clients wherever they are and journeys with them to where they want to go. Clint believes to understand oneself more deeply, we first have to understand our own tale from the beginning.

Clint Laird, LCSW, RPT™, is a NYC therapist specializing in couples therapy, family therapy, and marriage counseling. He works with couples and families navigating disconnection, conflict, and life transitions, helping them rebuild trust and communicate with empathy and honesty.

Clint offers couples therapy in NYC and telehealth counseling for partners seeking a deeper understanding, marriage and premarital counseling for those strengthening their foundation, and family therapy for households working to heal patterns that have become painful or stuck. His relational and psychodynamic approach encourages awareness, vulnerability, and emotional repair within safe, collaborative dialogue.

As an NYC therapist, the heart of Clint’s work is helping people navigate the intricate landscapes of their relationships. He focuses on couples therapy and family therapy for those weathering the storm of conflict, disconnection, or significant life transitions. Within his practice, marriage counseling becomes a dedicated space for partners to rebuild trust and discover how to communicate with empathy and honesty, turning toward each other instead of away.

Whether you’re seeking couples therapy in NYC in person or connecting through telehealth counseling, the intent is the same: to foster deeper understanding and lasting change. This extends to marriage and premarital counseling for those strengthening their foundation and to families ready to heal patterns that feel stuck. Using his relational and psychodynamic approach, Clint facilitates a gentle process of emotional repair, helping you find your way back to yourself and each other.

A Note From Clint:

There is hope even when your brain tells you otherwise.  Nothing has a neutral effect and everything we do, and don't do, is an important puzzle piece in the way we understand our world.  My pledge to those who I work with is to give you the very best of myself as we explore, deconstruct and rebuild this understanding and forge a path forward that feels whole and "right".  All I ask is your willingness to journey with me.
